Little things makes a difference, from welcoming staff- Sachin to the housekeeping staff Bella took care of my family and the concierge service by Danny was top notch.
Lovely place and breakfast was exceptional, loved the system of ordering your main breakfast rather than having a full fledged buffet which could have lots of wastage.
Well done Oberoi team! Thank you.

every comfort was thoughtfully provided for, allowing me to relax and unwind in absolute luxury.
The service at Taj Mahal Palace was exemplary, characterized by warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Whether it was the friendly greeting at check-in, the prompt assistance
from the concierge, or the impeccable room service, every interaction was marked by a genuine desire to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect.
The hotel's dining options were equally impressive, with a tantalizing array of culinary delights to choose from. From sumptuous Indian delicacies to international fare crafted with
finesse, each meal was a gastronomic delight that left me craving for more.
Beyond the confines of my luxurious abode, the Taj Mahal Palace also offered a plethora of amenities and experiences to enrich my stay. Whether it was a rejuvenating spa treatment, a

After arriving at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus we had a bad experience. A grey-bearded man wearing a turban - I assumed he was someone’s grandfather meeting a family member off the train - advised us not to go with the porter who had offered to help us with our cases. The man in the turban said he’d help us get to our hotel and called over 2 younger men who escorted us to a waiting taxi. When my husband asked what the fare to the hotel would be one of the men said all taxis in Mumbai are metered. When we reached the hotel the taxi driver drove into a side street and demanded Rs5,000. We asked to see the meter which showed Rs3000. We knew from our research that the fare ought to be around Rs600 for the distance we’d travelled.
We argued and the tone which up to then had been friendly turned menacing. We were told to pay what the meter said. Reluctantly my husband counted out out 6 x Rs500 notes and handed them to the driver. Next thing the driver told my husband he’d paid the wrong banknotes and showed us 4 x Rs20 notes in his hand. Now my husband had only had 10 x Rs500 in his wallet, so we knew the driver was lying. Anyway, to cut this long story short, we grabbed our bags and just moved off quickly to the hotel entrance.
I have taken the trouble to write of our experience because I believe other travellers arriving at LTT need be warned to avoid these shady characters.

We attended the Kala Ghoda Art Festival that was held from the 20th to 28th Jan2024. in Mumbai . It is an amazing festival that encompases all forms of art ......being cinema; poetry readings; crafts ;fine art ; classical indian dance forms ; great museums; walking tours of colonial buildings; street food tours and much more. The highlight for us was the nightly free live music concerts at an open air venue under perfect evening weather of Mumbai. These were all in the central Kala Ghoda area . The myriad of new age boutique eateries were a treat !
It is also very easy to get around these places using the popular local cabs or Uber .

Colaba Causeway thats where the buzz is ,
Good and tasty food at 2 Restaurants behind the Taj Palace called A;lmedya ., Mumbai is easy accessible to other places , plenty of Taxis , and Tuk Tuks
Avoid guys waiting in the street to take you shopping , these guys have a deal with shop owners , every customer who buys from these shop owners , give the introducer 20% discount of the purchased amount.
You cannot negotiate a better discount by your self with shopowner ,because he has to pay the 20 % commission. Must negotiate price with taxis and Tuk Tuk ,before you get transported to your place of arrival
Property offering to stay at dormitory style at such a prime location in Mumbai, with places like taj hotel and gateway of India at a walking distance, i found the property a must stay if anyone is looking for options to stay with friends or such. They have clean and fresh rooms along with hygienic and luxurious separate bathrooms. Apart from this they have a separate activity area for people to socialize and staff was also professional, humble and helpful as well.
This hotel truly lives up to the Taj brand and what defines a 5 star hotel. Exquisite treatment right from the moment we walked into the lobby until we checked out. During our stay we had breakfast at the hotel daily and utilised the spa multiple times and the service was impeccable in both and throughout the hotel. Combined with the hotel’s ideal location, this makes it a perfect choice for anyone coming to Mumbai for any purpose.
I was upgraded to a suite by Rajnish. He was polite and professional and shared all the options possible for any question I had. The duty Manager was also of great help, very courteous and professional for the extra booking I had to do.
The Front Office Staff at The Leela Mumbai was definitely best lot that I have seen in a long time as compared to some other 5 star hotels
Total lack of professional management from the standards of 5 star hotel. The scheduled check in in time was 2pm but we were not allotted the rooms till 5pm as the same was so called being “under sanitization’. There were more than 50 such guest screaming and shouting to no avail. I have never seen such mess and chaos in a 5 star rated property. Very disappointed.
We were welcomed warmly by the staff and two concierges on duty were so helpful and kind . Give us helpful hints about all sorts of useful stuff . The front desk staff were friendly and helpful . They are the best staff I have encountered having stayed at all the five star hotels in Mumbai . This alone will make me a regular guest in this welcoming hotel !
Mumbai's finest and most famous venue deserves a 5 star and more for their service & commitment, Had a great time staying there and was bowled over by the courteous & prompt service, hey follow all the covid norms, they make your special day most memorable with their efforts,I have no words to explain anymore about this hotel..
Dormitory is located near Airport and Metro Station. Centrally located between Andheri and Ghatkopar stations, good conectivity on both sides. Service given by staff is very good, dormitory is quiet and peaceful. Washrooms are also maintained clean and neat. Medical shops, restsurants and market are also nearby.
Coming fro Pune to Mumbai to catch an international flight at 3am, we were looking for a cheap, reasonably clean and comfotable place near the airport to rest since we wanted to come a little early to avoid uncertainties on the expressway. The hotel served the purpose. We did not stay for breakfast
While I reached Rodas for checking in the person at the reception informed me that due to maintenance works the room I booked was not available. However they immediately transferred me to the 5 star Meluha hotel which is right next to Rodas and belonging to the same group at the same price.
The food was ultimate. The best in all the 5 stars i have dined in. the staff is very cooperative and friendly. Very prompt responses, best cleaning all the time, beautiful interior and exteriors as well.overall amazing experience for sure
The rooms are well appointed , clean and appropriate for the price you pay. Basic but well done. The service however, is top class. There are many 5 star hotels in the city that are nowhere near as responsive, courteous and accommodating.
One of the best properties in Mumbai - TAJ.
My family and myself we enjoyed it.
For commuting between Airport to Hotel very easy.
Breakfast as per Indian Standard was fine but can be more better.
best location in Mumbai!
the staff make sure you have amazing experience in India, truly 5 star luxury hotel in all means.
rooms are spacious with great ocean view, the restaurants and bars are great.
Oberoi knows service and hospitality like no other group
They made our special occasion so special!!!
They never imposed rules and regulations on us like other 5 stars
The best hotel in Mumbai.
GOOD STAFF , GOOD HOTEL , NEAR AIRPORT , ALL OK AND ALL GOOD . NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL BUT GOOD FOR STAY .
BEST PART IS STAFF WAS POSITIVE . I WILL STAY NEXT TIME IN THE SAME HOTEL .
Worst ever hotel, especially the staff, their managers Hitesh Oza , Viraj Singh, as a 5 star hotel very cheap behaviours, utter non sense the way they handled the issues
