The biggest 2 trumps of Mahali Zanzibar were the location and most importantly, the people! Firstly, it's located in the middle of everything, right on the beach and in the middle of Paje beach overlooking the ocean, just a few min walk away from the little market and grocery store. Secondly, the staff in Mahali - every single one of them was such a sweetheart! They were very welcoming and so personal and that in the most positive meaning of this word. People were always smiley, positive and always ready to help whenever you needed it. What's more, the place itself is really nice and clean as well and as I already said it had a nice view over the beach. The room was super spacious. They made our beds, changed towels and cleaned the room every day. This is all really nice! However, more of a luxury. We would have been totally fine with the same towels since it would be better to save water :D But all in all I don't whine.. The only thing that was little funny, not that it was something I did not like, but I was not used to this, was the breakfast. The food itself was delicious and you were able to order literally everything you wanted from the menu, but the way it was organised was strange. We knew that the breakfast was included in the stay, but they did not explain how does it work, if I was able to order a specific amount of items from the menu or there was no limit. Maybe this is something I would recommend them to rethink or at least explain to guests. After we understood though, we just ordered almost everything from the menu every morning. Just the first interaction with the staff at the breakfast table was funny. :)

Menghadapi kawasan tepi pantai, Be Zanzibar Boutique Hotel menawarkan penginapan 5-bintang di Mfumbwi dan mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman dan teres. We had a wonderful stay at Be Zanzibar. Everything exceeded expectations! The owner, who is an architect, thought of every detail and curated a beautiful experience merging his experiences in Mexico and Dubai! They have multiple water sports you can do for free (clear kayak, paddle board, water bikes, etc.), and a dhow if you want to go snorkeling. The food at the restaurant, Casa Coco, was the cherry on top…great selection to choose from and the best Thai fried rice we have had at a non-Thai restaurant. Many thanks to Tarek, Alé, Yahya, and the whole Be Zanzibar family. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back again soon!

I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

Amani Hotel Paje mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, teres dan bar di Paje. My stay in Amani Paje was absolutely amazing. The hotel room was very big and comfortable, the bathroom as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They make sure that you get everything that you need. The breakfast was the best I have eaten in Zanzibar. A lot of choices available and so delicious. The host Anna is so nice and helps you with anything. I truly felt like home there. Would absolutely recommend this place and hope that I can come back soon. Thanks to Anna, Paolo and all the staff!

The house (it has a kitchen, a big room, a bathroom, a living room and a balcony) was so big and clean. The balcony is excellent to rest or have breakfast. Two steps, the pool! Perfectly location, closer to the beach. The employees are very polite and always ready to satisfy the guests necessities. :)
